I can name all the P4 starting QBs and most of the AAC. Should be noted that I’m in the middle of my weeklong college football fantasy draft so it’s top of mind - surely I’ll lose some of the information in the coming weeks.
I'd also honestly be hard-pressed to name 30 of *any* category of athlete without some kind of mnemonic aid, like giving me their initials or number+team or something. It's just a hard thing to do off the dome.
I've spent most of my summer mainlining sportscar racing, and to a lesser extent F1, and I still couldn't name more than one driver for any given IMSA team.
Anyway, congrats to whoever that guy is with whatever point he's trying to make, I guess?
Hanson seems cool to me. Just having some fun. But you're right that naming stuff without a guide is really hard. Brain has to pick a team first, then the QB. At least for me. I'm sure I'd struggle to even name every team in the Big Ten without looking at a screen.
I don't know enough about most of the seasons where Auburn is trying to claim a championship to weigh in, so for most of them sure, go ahead. But 2004 is obnoxious. That was the only season of the seven where we had a national championship game and Auburn didn't play in it. If there is a championship game, anyone who didn't win said game has absolutely zero claim on the title. None. 1997 was the last split championship, period.
