Is this true? This is the first I'm hearing that he gambled against his team, I had previously only heard he gambled on his team.
I'm not just being pedantic, I think it matters quite a lot. I know it's a somewhat out there opinion but I care a lot less if players gamble on their own team to win, that doesn't create (many) bad incentives; gambling against your team is a more serious sin in my eyes.
Looping back to this: Added a clarifying note in the story, but yeah, one of the reported bets was on an Indiana passing yards under in 2022. Bet against his team accruing pass yards, and it's not like they were running the triple back then.
