Not gonna lie, got a slight heart attack when I got this email… was afraid it was about to be a “we may have to take a step back or don’t know what the future holds” message… so glad it was not!!! RJ and Alex, what I love about SZD is politically I’m probably opposite of you and most of the SZD audience in every way BUT college football is a great unifier and there isn’t a college football podcast and duo of dudes I’d rather support then you 2! Been with you guys since you started in 2020 and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Hey, really appreciate it! I suppose we should've thought through the implications of that title a little more. It does give a bit of "you've got weeks to live" energy at first glance

Very happy first-year subscriber. Tons of well-thought out stuff that has made me better at my day job as a result. You guys rock, and it's great to hear that things are going well.

As an aside, Alex, you need to get RJ to show up in PGH with his clubs so he can watch a guy hit 14 greens in regulation and shoot 81.

As a person who fancies himself to be a "Good Person (TM)" I like to think that there are also a number of other Good People(TM) who enjoy college football despite it being run by some of the Shittiest People(TM) at the television and conference leadership levels. I appreciate very much that SZD is made by Good People and for Good People. Cheers to a successful 2025 and well deserved growth in 2026 y'all.

Also for the record - this is not a tout show.

We had a snow/tire emergency when I wasn't there to help and my wife ended getting a new set that the tire guy said were a little more than the base. I finally took a look to see what brand they were and as you can guess, they were Nokians. So I couldn't use the SZD code, but tell Will I am thrilled to report they are seeing us through some of the ugliest weather/roads I've seen since I moved back to Michigan. I'll be telling anyone who will listen about them and sharing the code because I want you guys to stay in the black. How else am I going to get an indepth, first hand breakdown of the Brawl of the Wild? Thanks for the update guys!

Congrats on another season. I’ve said it on Bsky and elsewhere, SZD is the ultimate cheat code for following this huge sprawling sport.

I love college football more than any thing on this Earth besides my close family. I love you both (and Godfrey, and Rodger). I’ll go without my morning Dunkin before I ever unsubscribe, following you guys to the ends of the Earth.

Appreciate you.

And hope not to make you actually go to the ends of the planet.

Thanks for this! As a Nebraska fan this podcast is basically the only reason I know anything about the sport. The huskers don’t give me much of a reason to care anymore

I think part of the reason that over subscriptions are down is that it seems like every podcast has some form of paid tier now, and it's never been more expensive to be a fan of a team, even ignoring the cost of various TV subscriptions. I've cut a few out of my subscriptions, and I'm still over $60 a month in pods and websites.

Appreciate you including us in your mix! I have a similar situation, quite a lot of subs these days.

I dropped Channel 6 and my Purdue On3 subscription, but since I met you guys in Minneapolis, I figured that's one I should keep.

This podcast taught me how to appreciate college football and its players...the line (from Alex?) that "college football is what you make of it" has really stuck with me as a philosophy that allowed me to take ownership of my experience from a mass media that demands viewers only care about the marquee football programs and games. I've gotten more out of my fandom these past 5 years as a sub than the prior 20...thanks!

Thanks for another year of helping us enjoy the whole hog.
