Split Zone Duo's Big 2025 Bracket Contest
SZD subscribers battle for glory and Homefield gift cards.
For the second year in a row, Split Zone Duo presents a revolutionary idea:
A college basketball bracket competition from a college football podcast? Yeah it’s weird, but no weirder than Georgia making the tournament.
We had a lot of fun doing this last year, and so we’re doing it again now. Last year our women’s bracket included one SZD listener landing in the 99.9th percentile of all brackets. She will be the gold standard for us all to match.
We’ll use ESPN’s “Tournament Challenge” platform. Be mindful that your fellow competitors will be able to see your picks and ESPN display name. Everyone is limited to one entry for the men’s and women’s tournaments.

Will there be prizes for the winners?
Oh yeah.
Are the prizes Homefield stuff?
You’d better believe it! The first-place winners of our men’s and women’s bracket competitions will each get a $250 credit at Homefield. We’ll email the champs.
Use code SZD20 for 20% off your first order at Homefield. You can find a comfortable and stylish Split Zone Duo collection here.
Assuming Alex wins fair and square, can he collect the prizes, or would that be a conflict of interest?
Once again, we’re using ESPN’s bracket system, so be sure to follow all of the platform’s rules and regulations. They say nothing about if Alex can win.
