thanks to you guys for another great season! can’t wait to see what the next one brings. if indiana can do it, so can pitt, maryland, and even lil ole florida!
appreciate yall. it’s not the end. it’s one year closer to the SZD bowl committee touring america
Congratulations to Indiana! Y'all were a disciplined machine all year long and it's awesome to see something new. Watching the very non agile traditional CF media not understand what they were witnessing was hilarious.
What a game! I didn't even expect the Canes to be in the playoff after their losses. I figured the committee would put someone else in. It figured that Beck would throw a devastating pick and I've never understood why he got a truck of money. He's never been able to diagnose a post snap defense.
I will say it was a delight to watch both teams process their
On that Godfrey comment that Indiana Football fans should retire from fandom after this championship, when I was a freshman in Bloomington in 1987, the Hoosiers won their fifth NCAA basketball championship. In the very early hours of the morning that followed, after we returned from running through the streets on a snowy night, a friend spoke words beyond his 20 years of age, saying, "This is it -- nothing in our college experience will ever be better than this..." He was correct.
As a Bloomington native and lifelong Hoosier tragic, this is the day I was chasing since that moment in 1987. It was long my belief that Indiana Football was the karmic burden carried by Hoosiers for our basketball glory, and that fall fandom was a test of character. This result was the reward I never asked for, but I am happy and humbled to share.
Congrats, Jordan. I hope you will stay a CFB fan so you stay with us, but as a Pirates fan who often thinks of what I would do if *my* favorite woebegone sports team that can never amount to anything finally won a title out of nowhere, I couldn't blame anyone for rolling out ater this, lol
Oh, I'm born to this and will die with this. I've watched every game for the past two seasons with my 87 y/o mother from her assisted living facility. She had season tickets for 50+ years and taught Trent Green & Antwaan Randle-El in her telecomm classes, plus many many other IU athletes. Someday, I'll get to go to these games in person, but experiencing this with her has been magical.
happy tuesday alex lol

Great run by your team. Gave it a real run and showed great resilience when they could've packed it up months ago.
Opponets on the way to the title game. Maybe see y'all next year? What a ride!
