You can call it copium if you want, sure, but two days post-Allar pick I’ve arrived at it being a very 20-year-old decision. It’s crushing, and it’s unfortunately narrative-defining on the largest stage. However: you’ve both opined for the 24 year old QBs to get out of the sport and make room for development. This is what that looks like. Hopefully Drew gets a chance to redeem himself.
Appreciate that! It’s certainly the hope. Doesn’t absolve James from his staff’s inability recently to recruit/develop/portal star WR talent like other Penn State QBs have had. That is the real test case for Allar’s development: to trust moving to 2nd and 3rd reads instead of panic and dirt it when the designed Warren shot play or RB screen aren’t open.
There’s also the Hackenberg regression Groundhog Day scenario, though I trust this offensive infrastructure much more.
Surprised y’all didn’t go after Sark for offensive playcalling. Watching that live, I felt he was incredibly tame and was playing not to lose. To your point about Arch, if he doesn’t trust Quinn Ewers to make super aggressive throws, why is Ewers out there? Ohio State was always going to be better skill-wise.
Richard has called our Left Tackle Jake Knapp in multiple episodes now. Jake Knapp is a PGA Tour Golfer. Our LT's name is Anthonie (take up the spelling with his parents).
For me it's the time he said Hitler was a good leader and also the time he campaigned for Jesse Helms as Helms was trying to stop MLK Day from becoming a holiday.
Didn't he apologize for whatever the Hitler comment was? I dont know, Alex. If you are still worried about a political candidate a coach supported 50 years ago, it seems to me your real problem is that Holtz is a Republican.

Don't disagree! You have a QB who may have unrealized upside yet. Teams with postgrads who should be working on Wall Street do not

Besides Ryan Day's bizarre beef, what is the problem with Lou Holtz?

Nope
Lou Holtz is a piece of shit person.
I prefer the Jack Off instead of Walk Off
