In late 1941, that was about to be a real thing. But it never happened, and later on, three more schools joined Arkansas in almost getting their hands on what became Bryant’s dynasty at Alabama.

In a new history deep dive, we are telling the detailed story of how Arkansas, Maryland, Kentucky, and Texas A&M all lost their chance to be the school where Bryant won all those national championships.
